Research seminar on depression pills
Researchers from the Nordic Cochrane Centre have recently published important results on the effects of depression pills based on close to 70,000 pages of clinical study reports of placebo-controlled trials we have obtained from the European drug regulators. These results question the rationale for using depression pills in depression, and they have ramifications also for other psychiatric drugs.
We are also involved with Cochrane reviews of psychiatric drugs, including a review on withdrawal of depression pills. At the seminar, we will discuss the latest evidence and what the consequences might be on current medical practice.
